"Delightful cottage, ideally located close to Bristol with great views of the river Avon. Quirky, but well designed accommodation more than met our expectations. Lovely usable garden. Would recommend without hesitation."

"My family and I enjoyed the stay at this property. Beds were comfortable, hot showers and plenty of bath water for a long soak after walking up Pen Y Fan which is just down the road. Kitchen well equipped, lots of space at the dining table. Stairs to the bedroom are steep which is normal for this type of cottage. There is a lovely outdoor space at the back. The owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for us. "

"No enclosed garden for dogs , cars driving past daily to the lodge further on . Gravelled drive - noisy Cob webs every where . Rude owner and unhelpful . Property not dog or child friendly Local pub - very nice but you have to drive , there is no foot path also uphill . No local amenities No welcome hamper Poor information folder - The only information provided is the local Indian Will not be returning or recommending "

"We stayed for a week in the lodge and enjoyed every minute. The accommodation has everything you will need for a stress free holiday,very close to wonderful walks and has places to eat/drink just a short distance away. Its very central to other attractions we went to the zip wire which was wonderful, the national caves and dinosaur park, great day out, also went down the big pit coal mine, another fantastic day out. "Our stay was for a surprise 21st birthday party and we were completely in awe when we arrived. The drive along the private road is stunning breathtaking views of Abergavenny and surrounded by animals. The area has such low light pollution, it was lovely to sit outside at night and see the stars so clearly. The area is private and secure as we had children with us that loved running around outside. The property has so much space that no one felt on top of me another which was lovely as there as 7...
