It's rained for the part 2 weeks straight. I'm thinking all these turtles were a little excited to finally see some sunshine!

Ruaha National Park is one of the top safari spots in the world. It's in Central/Southern Tanzania, near Iringa, and isn't overrun with tourists. I self drove and was able to hire a guide for only $23 for two days. Excellent experience. There are a few cottages in the park where you can stay overnight for $50.

Ruaha is home to 10% of the worlds lion population!

The creekside trails of Durant park are the place you need to be if you love a long walk and long for silence!
