"Our family had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The views are truly outstanding. We enjoyed a variety of different activities while in the area, but cooked all our meals in the room. The kitchenette is basic, but we managed just fine. The included breakfasts were a highlight - plentiful, fresh, homemade and delicious! We heard howler monkeys and saw toucans from the balcony! Don’t hesitate to book this property if you want a unique, beautiful, and peaceful place to stay while touring around...

"The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."

"The trees, birds, and butterflies around the property are beautiful. The ladies that checked us in were friendly. There was definitely a language barrier, and they didn't give us much information besides showing us to our room. The room was very basic, which is ok. The room had very strong plug in air fresheners, which was very overpowering and gave us head aches. The beds were rock hard and not comfortable, and 2 of the 4 pillows we had were moldy, which was pretty awful. We didn't notice...

I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. "Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...
