"Hotel Los Lagos is the best hot springs resort at Arenal. The price is reasonable, the hot springs are great, the slide is fun, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is helpful and friendly. I cannot say a bad thing about this resort, everything was great. This was my 2nd visit this year, and, I have visited this resort, maybe 8 or 10 times over the years."

"The view of the volcano (when not cloudy) and the restaurant on the top floor are both quite nice. Here are a couple reasons we didn’t love it: the hot springs are basically a couple jacuzzis coated with a black plaster, the sauna wasn’t steamy or hot enough, the gym needed a reservation and wasn’t available before our early departure, you can’t walk anywhere from here and the staff interactions were a little forced. "Great location, there are even a few sloths known to frequent the trees near the hotel and parking lot. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. Rooms were spacious and would recommend getting one with a volcano view for the balcony. I would definitely stay here again."

"Staff was very nice and accommodating. I like that the receptionist / property manager gentleman would walk up to cars to make sure there they were actual guests and there for reason. (He walked up to us parking a few times, especially at night and I appreciated that) The property is beautiful, the bungalow was clean and pretty cool. Pool was great and the AC was pumpin!
