"What an absolute gem of a place. I didn't want to leave! After a 2 week road trip, we wanted somewhere an 'easy' drive of SJO airport before our longhaul flight, and this place was perfect. We felt it extended our holiday because we instantly totally relaxed. The rooms had lovely comfortable beds and stunning views. "This is a very strange property. There are a lot of hotels, private condominiums sharing the same facilities but having separate gated access. The common grounds, however, aren’t being looked after so well. The Selvamar section we stayed in was okay, but a bit tired now. Room was much smaller than anywhere else we stayed in Costa Rica, but it was comfortable. Breakfast was decent, but the restaurant by the main pool where we had a dinner wasn’t the best and not worth the money they charge. Two...

"This place really sucks, seems pretty nice in pictures but has been neglected, apparently for years. There are things like the balcony light not have a switch, the one of the celling fas not working, a single ac unit for the whole place. For these day and age not having Wifi, seems pretty ridiculous. The kitchen is supposed to be semi-equiped, but there is almost nothing. No cookware not utensils, not even coffee mugs. In general everything is in a very poorly and abandoned state. "
