Our room was simply spectacular! The furniture is gorgeous, the AC works great, the bath is spacious, and the view is phenomenal! Breakfast was delicious, with many choices, and the greatest coffee. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a night tour from the hotel, which was informative and our guide, Johnny, was very knowledgeable

This was our second stay at Lost Iguana and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Our room was very spacious, and we especially loved the outdoor shower and the incredible view. The rooms feel like you’re staying on a private property while still enjoying all the amenities of a great hotel. We traveled with our three children and found it very family-friendly. The restaurants have plenty of food options for kids for both breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they especially loved the pool area. The location is also fantastic—close to many La Fortuna activities while still feeling quiet and secluded. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was settled in right next to the Mistico Hanging Bridges, super cool rainforest location. The breakfast had a wide range of fruit and choices. Ate in the restaurant for two dinners and the food wasn’t cheap but decent value given the quality. The rooms were nice with a balcony that opened up looking at the Arena Volcano with no end to f birds ripping around. Loved our stay

Beautiful hotel in the rainforest! The grounds were immaculate and stunning, the rooms spacious and very clean. Hotel staff is wonderful, shout out to German at the pool bar! The food was excellent including the free breakfast buffet. Uber is super accessible and its a quick ride to downtown La Fortuna.

Such a beautiful place. Our room was outstanding with an outdoor shower and jacuzzi. We could sit on the porch for hours and watch nature. The trail was amazing. Breakfast buffet was not good. Food was always cold except when they cooked the omelet for us. That should be available more often. Dinner and drinks were not impressive. Our waiter was fun and always remembered our names. Don't pay for the Puma Trek/VIP pass like we did at reception. Found out later that people staying can do the hike for free. Rooms had a great view and the location was great. Parking was always avaliable and easy. I did enjoy our stay loved the decor. All the staff members were pleasant and helpful.

The staff are excellent! We wanted for nothing! The environment was peaceful, cozy, quiet. We were fully immersed in nature in this mountain side haven! If you want to get back to a simple existence and just relax, I highly reccommend the Lost Iguana!

Lovely remote resort in a gorgeous natural setting. Friendly staff, excellent restaurant with reasonable pricing. I didn’t like having to pay $12/person to go on a nature walk, but it was a beautiful walk. The two pools next to the restaurant had an attractive design and one of them was heated such that was pleasant to hang out in for a long time. We would happily come back here.

I went here for a mother-daughter trip. Our stay at The Lost Iguana Resort and Spa was lovely- the room was clean, the check in staff was very welcoming. The pool bartender and the spa staff were gracious. We stayed in a room with a view of the Volcano. Even the breakfast and dinners at the restaurant there was very good. Overall, we had an amazing experience.
