"Absolutely amazing place. The swim up bar and views of the Arenal volcano are breathtaking. The staff was always helpful and so kind. Club rio has so much to do and great with kids. The food was top notch… plus you can eat anywhere with any menu which is great for families. You can’t come to this area of Costa Rica and not stay here. Everything you need or want is here and if it’s not they will set it up for you!"

"I came back to Lost Iguana because of the rooms, and while the room I stayed in is spectacular, the service and friendliness of the staff could not be improved. The restaurant was able to accommodate very challenging food allergies and it was still very tasty and healthy. I will be back."

"Lovely self sustaining eco resort in the midst of the forest. We loved the food, the coziness of the cabin, the yoga classes, and wandering around the property. The farm tour and the night tour were fun activities to do with a 4 year old. We did not like: occasional smell of sewage around the property, especially around the pools. Dated bathrooms in cabins - needs a refresh. Construction noise around the property. "
