"Be warned: you CANNOT get to this hotel with your own vehicle! You're required to buy a separate bus ticket in order to get to the hotel. We weren't told until a couple weeks before our stay that a bus was required to reach the property. We were stunned to find that bus tickets for our family of four were almost TWICE as expensive as the $285 room we booked for a single night. "Checking in was a nightmare. They tell you to call a number but no one answers. So many guests were waiting in the parking lot, while we were there. We waited for an hour to get in. Once in, the room smelled musty. The radiator wasn't hooked up or capped. We turned it on by accident and water poured out onto the electric radiator right next to it. Then the hair dryed was on the floor behind the toilet. Besides being gross, another fire hazard."

"The property is so peaceful and beautiful, I loved waking up each morning to the peaceful landscape. The kitchen is clean and has everything you need to make your meals. I’ll be back the next time I travel to Iceland."
