"This place is beautiful. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and it was stocked with everything you'd need to make breakfast or dinner. They used no scents so they were very allergy friendly. The family who owned the property were very friendly as well. We were even able to do laundry there for an extra fee! The property was beautiful, ocean out the windows with a waterfall in the back. Would highly recommend this place!"

"OMG!!! Highly highly recommend this experience. We went and feed horses. They do not come up to your personal cabin, but you can go and pet/feed them snacks inside of fence, we brought apples, cut them in pieces and horses seem to enjoy it. And toiletries in shower, omg!! That was some luxury experience."

"We absolutely loved this property! The view and location is stunning and the cottage is beautiful and clean. This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Iceland - highly recommend! The only thing that went wrong was check in. We didn’t receive our cottage number, instructions on how to get into the property or receive a door code. But we called the hosts and they were so helpful and got it taken care of promptly. 10/10!"

"Beautiful setting, easy to access cabin and you can park right beside your cabin. Kitchenette with all cutlery/dishes. TV had reception first night but the the 2nd night. Tea towels and dishclothe would be nice to have. Heat didn't work, and heated towel rack not work...would have been nice to dry washed under garments. Otherwise comfy place."

"This property was the most tranquil stay I have ever had. I felt safe the entire time and the owner was lovely to deal with. I would like to return for a longer stay. They have everything you need too, including a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the over which was fine for two people. The property was also lovely and cosy. Not cold at all."

"Nice cottage near VIK ! Clean and well Equipped! The check in was totally self check in and self check out that is amazing. Just disregarded that they say that the check in should be done before 9pm. Actually they will send you a code to self access your cottage . The cottages are about 10 yrs old but well maintained."

"We LOVED this property. Tucked off the main road in the farmland, was such a well appointed cottage with everything we could have possibly needed. The views were spectacular, the horses and sheep were so fun to watch right outside the big picture window. "Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...
