Amazing staff but not worth the price
Good location and great staff. Also very clean! Price wise, its not worth the 100usd per night rate, breakfast is mediocre. If the price were about 60usd then it would be perfect.

If you want the auditory experience of being in Times Square, this is the place. The word loud does not even cover this place. On the positive, this property is smack between two malls. It does not get more centralized than this in C.D.O.

The facility is clean and the staff is excellent. The only downside is it can be a little noisy from other guests in the hallway. I would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent. Not quite the most quality breakfast of a continental breakfast that was supposed to be included. I would recommend eating out if possible.

Great hassle free stay!
It's like a 4 star hotel at the price of 3. Beds and sheets are comfy and clean. Efficient housekeeping and staff are always prompt and eager to help with any request. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit CDO.

Disappointment at the front desk!!!
When we went in to this hotel, it seemed king of nice. When we went to the front desk, the cashier there told us what are our names. She searched and found our names, but she said she needed to see our expedia booking. We were not yet log in to our gmail account, and we showed our id at her (like in most hotels). But she wouldn't give us a room.We argued and then we logged on to our gmail. The worst thing is they would not allow id to be the proof. We got frustrated because they said they asked for how many people. They added 1000 pesos to the bill. Then, suddenly the cashier cried as we went out. The room was nice, but the breakfast was only for one person even though the price of the room was high.

We are sorry about your experience but upon investigation, your booking showed that you have booked our "DELUXE room -ROOM ONLY" for two (2) persons for 2 nights. You arrived with a total of five (5) persons. ( 3 adults and 2 children). Our front office staff charged you an additional fee of P1,000 (P500 per night for the 1 extra adult person in your party, inclusive of complimentary breakfast) good for 2 nights and waived the charges for the children. Since it's a "room only" booking, breakfast is not included in your payment and only the extra person can avail of the breakfast. It is our hotel policy to refer to the booking voucher upon check in to avoid confusion and misunderstanding between the guest and our staff. Although our rooms are able to accommodate the total number of persons in your group, the price is much cheaper if you book for 2 persons instead of 4 persons. Our sincere apologies for the misunderstanding. We still hope you've had a pleasant stay with us and would consider booking your stay at 1A Express Hotel again in the future. Have a nice day!
