"This hotel has just been taken over by new owners the staff were saying, so are putting a lot of money into it to get it up to 4 star. The staff were so helpful, my room was great ,and with the improvements it'll only get better. What a location too, loved we were looking out over the ocean, and an easy walk into town. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back."

"Unit was on the 3rd level, but NO LIFT. Had to drag bags up fairly steep stairs. Other than ground floor not for anybody with mobility issues."

"On arrival there was a mix up with requested bed preferences. Reception staff were super helpful and rectified happily. Breakfast was very enjoyable and well worth having, the poached eggs were perfect and the staff were very friendly.

"Clean room and nice bathroom. The resort itself is beautiful and has a lot of covered walking paths to get from the lobby to the rooms, pools, and restaurants, helpful when it rains on and off a lot in Cairns. Breakfast buffet was really good, wish it was built into the price though. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, particularly one night with very noisy neighbours at 2:30am.
