"We chose this hotel as it had great reviews and offered free parking. Although a little dated the hotel was great. A 10 minute walk to Pier 39 and close to the Cable Car stops etc. Our room was a little noisy as it overlooked the rear of "Bimbos" so we had to keep the window shut but we had aircon which we needed."

You really can’t beat the location—we were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to see around Fisherman's Wharf, catch the cable cars, and explore the city with ease. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Perfect spot for a couple's getaway. We’d absolutely stay here again!"

"I am sure we probably got one of the cheapest rooms in the hotel as the view was of the mechanical equipment and roof outside and the beds were 2 twins. We had reserved a better room but we arrived early and staff allowed us to check in early to Room 208. Still, it was wonderful. It is clear that whoever planned out the amenities and presentation was a woman as everything was so thoughtfully done. "If it wasn't for the construction noise, everthing would befine."

"Great location. Room was clean, however, the carpets ( very much so), upholstered furniture cushions REALLY need cleaning. Bathrooms could be cleaned more than only once a day. Other guests were friendly. Very funky historical building, so interesting in that regard. The hallways were crowded with old furniture and very dusty and dirty. For safety and ease of mobility, those hallways should be open and clear. Windows in our room were difficult to open, and blinds were broken. Other than that,...

"The beds were very old and uncomfortable. We could feel the springs in all the beds. We were grateful for the fan in the closet. Parking was really tight but we managed. Overall it was a place to lay our heads and shower."
