"The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel."

You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too!
