River Inn at Seaside

"The suite we stayed in was clean, comfortable, roomy, and modern. The kitchen was supplied with enough utensils to prepare a simple meal. Usually, I struggle sleeping in hotels because the beds are not very comfortable, but this one was great! The hotel is close enough to town to walk, but quiet and out of the noise."

"Odd place but not bad. The buildings feel older than their 30 years. The hallway floors actually slope slightly. Is this intentional for drainage from the ocean? The gas fireplace in the room was a nice perk but I was surprised there wasn't much substance to the screen in front of the fire. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view - spectacular! Breakfast was much more than I expected and it was very good. My only (minor) complaint is that the room wasn't ready at check-in time. The office staff were very nice."

"This was our 2nd time at the Inn and is a wonderful place to stay. They give you fresh baked cookies and put salt water taffy in your room. It has a fridge, microwave etc. all with great view on the balcony and comfy bed and bathroom."

"Cool historic hotel. The small room count and footprint made it feel very much like an inn. Staff were great. Room was clean. Onsite restaurant was quite good with great cocktails, wine, and beer. Small plates to entrees available. Would not hesitate to stay again."

"The staff made the stay! They were very nice, happy and helpful. The room had several maintenance issues but nothing that took away from our stay. The location is within walking distance of everything you would want to do and see."
