The hotel is an old 19th Century, if not earlier, residence in the heart of the Spanish colonial city with only ten rooms, and a short walk from the malecon. It had charming courtyards and was absolutely magical. Room, staff, breakfast, room all up to first class international standards. A real treat in a really lovely Mexican city.

Outstanding. I travel a lot and strongly prefer local hotels with character. Don Gustavo has it all. Wonderful welcoming staff. Large immaculate room. The breakfast is as good as you’ll find anywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Das Don Gustavo Boutique Hotel hat uns in allen Punkten überzeugt. Das beste Hotel auf unserer gesamten Rundreise durch Yucatan. Toller individueller Service, auf den viel Wert gelegt wird. Tolles Frühstück im beliebten Innenhof. Wunderschönes Zimmer mit frischen Blumen. Nachts kann man etwas die Geräusche von den umliegenden Restaurants hören, aber das war nicht weiter belästigend. Dafür absolut zentral gelegen. Der überwachte Parkplatz liegt knapp 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Um ihn zu finden am besten kurz im Hotel nachfragen wie man fahren muss. Der Rezeptionist zeigt auch gerne den Weg zum Parkplatz und hilft beim Tragen des Gepäcks. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Don Gustavo in June 2022 for 5 nights. The place is in the very middle of the Campeche historic area, with many nice restaurants close by. The hotel is in a beautifully restored historic building and furnished with antiques. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Some speak good English and the others try. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Quaint historic hotel in a converted family house. Oozing with charm and history. Rooms are HUGE with 2 rooms each. Beds are a little saggy, cut everything else is perfect. The included breakfast served right outside your door was a bonus

Magnifique hôtel dans la vieille ville
Une superbe étape dans cet hôtel, où notre famille avait deux magnifiques chambres, l’une au rez-de-chaussée et l’autre à l’étage. Les deux aussi calme, avec de belles attentions, fleurs fraîches, fruits de bienvenue et musique d’ambiance à la TV , ainsi que produits de toilette de qualité. Petit déjeuner très bien, nous avons regretté de ne pas pouvoir dîner sur place, mais la réception nous a recommandé deux restaurants, nous y sommes allés et n’avons Pas été déçus

Excelente opción en la calle 59
El hotel se encuentra directamente al inicio de la calle 59, donde están los restaurantes y bares, lo cual es conveniente y aun así se puede descansar sin problemas. El hotel mantiene el estilo colonial pero no carece de comodidades, el wifi funciona muy bien y las habitaciones esta muy bien. Lo único que encontré que puede mejorar es el desayuno incluido, básicamente son solo huevos, y si se quiere omelette es con cargo extra, por el precio que se paga por el hotel si podría ser algo mejor, pero en general el hotel me encanto y si pienso regresar en mi proxima visita a la ciudad.
