Great place in front of El Malecón. Breakfast is great, hotel is nice and clean. The restaurant (sea food) in front of the hotel is also recommended by locals. One thing to improve is shuttle from the Light Train (tren maya) to the hotel.

Nice hotel. It is clean and the front desk staff are helpful. However, skip the breakfasts and the restaurant as a whole. The service is truly awful (they prefer standing around talking to each other instead of doing their job) and the food is always cold, especially the breakfast buffet. Also, watch for the bait and switch when you have the hotel call you a cab. The porter cancelled our cab and called a friend instead. He told us the driver was a cab driver, but his car was “in the shop.” Not a cab means no insurance.

I liked that we had connecting rooms. Checkin was easy and quick. We got there early and they let us check in at noon. It is not in the center of Campeche, but there are restaurants and other things around. Would be nice if there were a beach

The hotel is on. However furniture is chipped, elevators kept going out of service, the TV had no acces to airplay and no Netflix or any other streaming apps. The restaurant had very little options and it is ugly as hell. The bedding was ok, although clean the pillows and blankets were not the most comfortable. Great location, very friendly staff, the pool was freezing. Definitely needs an upgrade.

Shout out to the Staff

The staff, the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant to the cleaning staff and the doormen, were all very kind, helpful and attentive. We felt welcomed throughout our stay. We had to unexpectedly stay an extra night and adding it to our stay was easy. I will say, the online booking showed Double Standard room to have 2 beds and a sofa, however, our room had no sofa, which we were expecting. We arrived tired after long travel so we just stayed in the room. When I had to book the extra day, the same picture and description comes up for a room accommodation for 6, two beds and a sofa. We were not feeling at 100% during our stay (not bc of the hotel) so it was not worth moving all of our things around but I do want there to be a word of caution for anyone expecting the sofa or simply more space, as we did not get that accommodation.

Staff is great, they are super nice and helpful. The property has all you need. Breakfast is excellent. The only thing I didnt like was the carpet in the hallways, it looks a bit worn down but the rest of the hotel looks quite good.

The AC thermostat of the room did not work properly. The connecting door between rooms has no soundproofing and you can hear everything in the neighbor room. Not enough electrical outlets. Elevators need renovation. The rooms need renovation.

The reception was poor!! The receptionist had an attitude from the beginning. She told me that I hadn’t paid for my stay and when I showed her the email with the confirmation from two weeks ago she still ask me to paid again also she told me that customers from Hotels.com or Expedia are not allowed to have the beach site view.
