"The cabin was nice and comfortable. Couldn’t get the wood fireplace going. The handle for the vent seemed to be broken. One warning: due to the closeness to the railway track, you’ll hear the train throughout the night. And the train blows its horn every time, day and night."

"My stay at Lake Louise was not enjoyable at all. I found that the staff was not friendly or helpful as compared to elsewhere in Banff. They were indifferent and were not warm at all. That said, people in Banff area are super friendly, and I loved my stay at Banff Caribou Lodge. I was initially placed in a building that was undergoing renovation w noise up until 6 pm or so, and my first room was dated, filthy w a huge pool of water in the bathroom. They stated I paid for a “standard”...

"Great location, clean and comfortable."

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast at the Keg was very good. Older hotel with no fans in the bathrooms, and despite renovations showing its age in places. Free 3 day bus pass to get around Banff an excellent freebie."

"Poor customer service!! The room heater wasn’t working so we slept with small electric heater for 3 nights."

"A wonderful place and value for getting out of the city. For a couple, the rooms are a good size. The kitchen was also a pleasant amenity. Underground parking is also a big plus."

"Beautiful room"

"Booked 3 rooms last weekend here for my wedding as they allowed BIG dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and so did all our dogs. Love the dog run right out your patio door (super convenient). Especially for a senior dog on his last days. We will definetely be back in the future."

"The service and food were excellent and lodge offered beautiful mountain views."
