"Property was good but elevator was not working"

"No elevator for three story hotel. Staff or contractors working on cement walkway between rooms on all levels. Laundry was in a basement with two washers and two dryers that had “out of order” on them. It was unbelievable with so many people and rooms that there weren’t more machines. People go to Golden to hike the nearby national parks. We had to go into town to find laundromat. One of the beds had unclean bedding but that was quickly replaced by housekeeping when I called front office. Office...

"A beautiful log structure undergoing upgrades. Friendly staff, well maintained rooms, great outside deck and within easy walking distance of downtown Golden. There is no restaurant or breakfast on site is the only drawback, which is easily remedied. I highly recommend staying here if you appreciate a mountain lodge style setting."

"When traveling to a place like Jasper, people tend to have a bit of luggage. This hotel has no elevators from the lobby to the 1st floor where our room was, so I had to lift my heavy bags up about 1/2 a flight of stairs. Overall the room was fine, just this inconvenience."

"Very slow service & front desk. One worker on lunch right when a buss of 20 people came, took over 1.5hrs to check in. Air conditioning unit is very loud and sounds like a jet plane & no hot water in shower. Will never stay here again"
