"This boutique hotel is located in a odd neighbourhood of Golden, away from restaurants and other amenities, and in a semi-industrial part of town. However, if you get a room that faces the river and the mountains, you will have a fantastic view from your room. Our room was facing the opposite direction and although we had a view of the mountains too, we also looked into a industrial warehouse and yard which was not as pituresque. "Room and property was maintained. Couple things that would have been nice: either microwave in the rooms or shared lounge area. Wished there was more sound proofing in the walls. We were in the first floor and could hear TV the next door neighbor. We could hear upstairs neighbors walking and kids running and stomping. This was not pleasant and probably deterred us from returning."

"Booked two nights stay at the hotel. On arrival realized that the bathtub does not drain and the dirty water stays up in the tub. Talked to the staff on duty and was told that immediate repair is not possible, but it will be fixed in the morning. Came back in the evening after a full day of hiking to the bathtub cleaned up from dirt residue but still not draining at all. "The room was very hot and the AC was very loud it kept shutting off every 20mins and restarting all night. Very annoying. Also the shower door is broken and it won't stay shut. Probably won't ever come back due to these reason. Had a poor sleep."
