"I booked a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. Those with me had no complaints but I was the one who slept in the sofa bed. This was brutal and I woke up with a headache the first night due to the discomfort. I mentioned it at check-out and was given a slight discount which was appreciated. It was like sleeping in a dish. I took the thin mattress out and put it on the floor the next night. This was so much better! I understand sofa beds usually are not that comfortable but this was quite bad. This was my only complaint. Everything else was great! I would go here again but just make sure to sleep in a bed next time."

"I’m sad to say that although I was excited about this property because of its great location, my overall experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, the staff immediately reminded us that only four people were allowed to stay in the room — which we understood and respected. However, during our stay, we experienced a medical emergency and needed to cancel our remaining nights. We contacted Expedia, and they informed us that the decision for any refund would depend on the property. When we spoke directly with the hotel staff, they required a medical certificate and still refused to provide any refund. It felt very unreasonable given the situation and lack of compassion shown. Additionally, when we requested housekeeping, we were told cleaning is only done every three days, which was inconvenient and not clearly communicated beforehand. Unfortunately, due to the poor customer service and lack of flexibility during a medical situation, I would not recommend staying at this hotel."

"Room was a bit hot, even with the portable AC unit it stayed quite warm. Noticed the heat register seemed to be on in the bathroom. Might have been the time of year where they were getting away from winter temperatures to summer. Doors or some noise seemed to be slamming quite late into the night. Otherwise the pool and hot tub were pleasant as well as the attached restaurant."

"We've stayed at this hotel many times when it was branded differently. It is newly renovated and beautiful. The Nordic spa intrigues me but it's not cheap. The bed was amazing. This was a one night getaway for my husband's birthday and it was the perfect space."

"Lovely hotel, with a beautiful hot tub and lounging area. Our room was spacious and well thought out. Staff was excellent. I do wish there were individual reading lights at the bedside though."

"We had no idea of all the renovations, and just wanted to come here and unwind. We asked a staff member (housekeeper) where the pool was and she said it was closed, it was not. The pool area was fantastic, glad we asked the front desk. The restaurant did not have the same menu as before and there was only a pricey buffet. The food was delicious, but paid too much. Overall the stay was just ok, wished we had stayed somewhere else which was disappointing, because we usually enjoy the BPL, we could have stayed at their sister hotel for less, and enjoyed the pool. The lobby is a bit chaotic with all the tour bus people, hopefully will be done soon for other guests."
