"Room was clean, location is excellent, convenient to must see places and to restaurants. Neighborhood is very quiet, safe and the people in the neighborhood are polite. Has two neighborhood grocery stores. There’s no noise in the building or outside. Easy check in and out. Some suggestions and observations: It would be nice if you can provide knives for cutting fruits, coffee maker not working, hot water kettle is working but leaky. "Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. "I had a very pleasant stay here during my trip to Portugal. The space was very clean, comfortable, and felt safe throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the amenities provided — there was a dishwasher and a washing machine with laundry pods available, which was incredibly convenient because I was able to do my laundry during my trip.
The kitchen also had plates, glasses, and pots available for use. The only small downside was that there were no utensils, but this was a very minor issue...

"Beautiful property overall, but unfortunately the room needs some attention. The bathroom and the area under the kitchen sink had a strong mould smell, and there was visible black mould on the shower caulking and even around the bathroom towel hook. The shower also did not drain properly, which caused water to back up onto the bathroom floor.
The host provided restaurant recommendations, which was appreciated, but unfortunately all of the places suggested were closed during our stay.
