Great one night stay here. Managed to park around the back after arriving late. My room was very good - clean and comfortable. Great bed and decent shower. Very close to the centre so easy to walk into town. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel and lovely breakfast, though we weren’t informed of correct breakfast times at check-in, nor of the door code until we checked out! Would recommend hotel if staying in Canterbury!

Perfect location for visiting Canterbury Cathedral. Property facilities were clean and modern in a classic building. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was spot on.

Great location 👌
This was spot on as a location with great food & drink options available. The room was very comfortable, clean & warm, nicely decorated. Only faults were the wind whistle though the window all night & 2 soft pellow. Bed was very comfortable those. The member of staff on greeting us never said much or move of his chair. Only tap to say tap for the car park parking. Taking away that we would stay there again!

Had been looking forward to staying here seeing photos of the bedrooms and the hotel Instagram page, but our room was very disappointing. Cold, noisy (single glazed windows), next to another pub and bathroom that needed some love. Not what I expected for the price. Also seems like more of a bar with rooms as an add on rather than a hotel. Upon check out we heard another guest complaining about the standard of their room - shame!

A lovely stay, room was great, checking in easy. Hotel bar looked good but service wasn’t great, took far too long to serve drinks and didn’t seem very busy. Also, one of us wasn’t drinking and the staff seemed put out by being asked to do soft drinks.

The hotel itself is gorgeous! I stayed in a single, and though it was small, it was very comfortable and I enjoyed it. My window opened up to let fresh air in, I had a tv, and there was a well-stocked tea area in my room with biscuits and an electric kettle. My only complaint is that the fire alarm seemed to be on the fritz while I was there, and went off a few times, causing some confusion amongst the guests. It's close to anything you could need: transportation back to London, walking distance to the shops, and plenty of food options. It's the best place I stayed in England, by far.

Little bit chaotic but comfortable room
Receptionist didn’t know how to take payment on arrival. Fire alarm going off twice on the first night wasn’t great and receptionist wasn’t informative on what to do or what was going on. Breakfast the next morning was chaotic as I think the waiting staff was late. Comfortable bed, powerful shower and parking availability which was great.

Great location and gorgeous decor throughout. The room was a lovely four poster bed room, with mid century decor. The only issue was maintenance- the chair in the room was broken, and the windows were very dusty. It was a little noisy with traffic and the refuse collection (noisy bottles!) but the super comfortable bed made sure sleep wasn’t interrupted for long

Comfortable but needs more security.
The room was quiet, good-sized and comfortable for the two of us. One issue I would raise is security. We were in the secondary building. Outside lighting was barely adequate at night, and the entry doors to the building were not key-card protected. Other than this, our stay was most enjoyable.

The hotel was generally ok but a warning note should be put on the hotel website or advised by reception upon check in that that ear plugs are required. The noise of booming music thundered through the floor into our room (26) until the early hours of the morning giving us a less than a peaceful night's sleep, the secondary glazing also did nothing to dampen the noise created by each patron leaving the hotel after there night out. Some other point to raise about our superior double room other than the noise issues. The flooring is very uneven so for a less sure footed person a trip to the toilet could hazardous due to floor levels and obsticals being in the way, once you get to the bathroom you will have fun trying to access the flush button on the WC, it is located for reference under the left hand side of the wash hand basin, simply put your finger under it and push up the side and press, some other minor things are that for such a small compact room there are to may items.of furniture and the table lamps are a little bit on the wobbly side. On the positive the bed was comfortable but it's the shame as this was spoilt by the extremely flat pillows which you will need to manipulate. If you want a hotel where you want to wake up washed out this is the place to stay, for is it is not and I would spend my £200 for a night elsewhere Thankyou

Good would go again
Hotel looks absolutely amazing we stayed at the building at the back and enjoyed the fact that we were slightly offset from the bar and didn’t have to walk through hotel to come and go. Room had really good comfy beds. Only downside was there was quite a few marks on the walls and wallpaper coming off and the shower (although I love good water pressure) felt like you was showering with a pressure washer But all in all I would happily go again
