"There was no room when I arrived. Staff put an old mattress and used linens into a random room that looked like someone had been living there. Door didn’t lock. Then all staff left and locked me in. Left property due to safety and cleanliness concerns. Staff were nice but cannot recommend this place."

"Rancho Costafalo is a unique and very special place. It is remote and is situated in an idyllic setting on a large farm with an amazing botanical garden with species of citrus, palms, and rare cacti and a large beautiful pond. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed out two-night stay at the ranch. The accommodations are somewhat rustic, but offer everything we needed, a clean bed, nice bathroom and a pleasant deck. "Booked the lodge for 2 nights and could have stayed 10, the host and his wife were absolutely wonderful. Cute little cabin surrounded by gardens and trees, bar fridge, fan, tv, wifi, and a nice bathroom stocked with clean towels. The very slight extra cost for breakfast is recommended and very tasty. When checking in we were given a paper with a map of the area, the host circled the free hot springs and other attractions. Very friendly to chat with. The lodge sits in front of the Miravalles...
