"Our stay at Condovac was very nice for the most part. First off, the staff was very kind and helpful with everything. From the reception to food service and hotel cleanliness, the staff was the best. Maybe due to it being low season, there were just a few things we would have like to have seen more of around the resort itself, like more food choices and activities, especially for kids, but for us the vacation was about relaxing with family and we were able to do just that. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Let me start by saying the property itself wasn’t bad. However I must say that I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts at many different countries and the service ambiance is usually very happy and contagious. At Planet Hollywood it seams that some of your service staff feel like they are being inconvenienced by the guests and your bar tenders are not very happy and helpful and that is the reason why they lose so many tips and lack customers communication. Your adult bar should be just that and not allow little one to be there . These are just some of my observations."

"Hotel Riu a wonderful place to stay with family. The room was clean, amenities were nice. The only observation we had was some restaurants were closed, and due to the food was great, reservation to restaurants will be highly suggested. But nevertheless, our stay was perfect."

"This is a great resort, my family had a wonderful time! The kids loved the pool and the activities. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Jose and Priscilla who made my kids feel like family. The beach is beautiful, not at all crowded and has amazing sunsets (Tip: the security guards will set up beach chairs for you if you ask). We did the all-inclusive package and it was absolutely worth it. The food was much better than I expected and we took advantage of the other amenities that came with all inclusive. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back."

"I am writing to report a significantly misleading and disappointing experience at CC Papagayo, which ultimately caused us to leave the property and transfer to another hotel. The hotel listing advertised multiple amenities and experiences that were either unavailable or materially different from what was represented. Upon arrival, we found that only one of the two advertised restaurants was operational. Additionally, the live music and entertainment promoted in the listing was entirely nonexistent during our stay. The beachfront experience was also substantially misrepresented. The property was advertised as being directly on a desirable beach; however, the actual beach area was rocky/gravel-based and did not resemble the appearance or experience suggested in the listing photos and description. There were also no beach chairs or towels available, which further diminished the advertised beach experience. Another major issue involved the outdoor dining and beach environment. There were numerous large iguanas roaming the property that repeatedly approached and chased guests in attempts to obtain food, creating an uncomfortable and, at times, intimidating experience that negatively affected our ability to comfortably enjoy the premises. Additionally, the overall atmosphere and amenities available onsite were far below expectations based on the listing, price, and marketing materials. "The property offers a lot of activities so it’s convenient that way. The free breakfast is buffet and they also have dinner buffet for $30USD. Staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend this place if you have a big group and want to do multiple excursions in one place."

"We stayed one night but wish we could stay longer. Clean, large rooms. What was unclear during reservation but was a great surprise when we actually got there is that if u are a guest of the hotel, you get access to many nature attractions around without having to pay extra. So the hotel is on a privately owned land and on the same land are waterfalls, ponds, hiking trails. As a guest you have free access to all of these while non guests have to pay to access them."
Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica - All Inclusive

"The resort itself was ok, decent food options and the pool and property was kind of nice...however the room was trashy and outdated. bathroom smelled like sewer after day 1, TV was crooked, little things like this....WHICH could have been corrected or fixed however the hotel staff and management were absolutely useless! we went to the front desk multiple times, called for manager, and emailed many times but got no help or recognition. Also this was on our honey moon which we made clear. They gave us some free wine which we could've got downstairs since it was all inclusive, and decorated our room with balloons like a kids birthday party, which was thoughtful I guess but kind of embarrassing and I would have preferred them to do nothing. Honestly the fact a manager or some sort of supervisor couldn't talk to us and acknowledge our complaints while we were there was absolutely pathetic. I will avoid all RIU resorts going forward due to this experience. Terrible hotel staff, thank god we were at KIONO in LaFortuna before this which was wayyy better, go there instead."
