"Problems are too numerous to mention so will provide the highlights. The good: Location - Onsite and the access road to the lodge are prime birding and butterfly and iguana areas. It's wonderful! Just ~10 minutes away from great local Sodas for good food. AC works, which is important in the oppressive heat this time of year. There is onsite food if you're desperate not to drive elsewhere. Disappointing: Per Expedia description, Authentic Costa Rican food: false. It's a pizza/pasta...

"Kind staff, comfortable beds and well equipped cabins. Trails within the hotel offer a nice hike in the forest an through coffee plantations. Great option for a weekend or short stay in Copey."
