"This place is conveniently located in the heart of the city. it is on the beach side but does not have beach view from the room. The toilet and shower are open to the room, yet they do have a private door or curtain for privacy while using. As you can see from photos, the wall for the shower has a curtain and the wall for toilet has a door. Must NOT flush toilet paper in the toilet as most of the hotels in Tamarindo. "Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to!
