"The treehouse was definitely worth the stay. Even though it had no AC, it wasn't needed. The temps in the forest were perfect even at night. The sounds of the forest were amazing to fall asleep too. Woken to the sounds of toucans more than once. I would recommend having a car if staying here. Having a vehicle allowed us the freedom to come and go as needed. Overall, this was a great place to stay!"

The location is quite remote—far from restaurants and not well lit at night—which made it difficult to find upon arrival. "I loved the family who own and run Los Gallitos. They are so genuinely friendly -- it made our stay. We tried to stay two nights, and wish we had. The pool was lovely, and the location is perfect for exploring the area around the waterfalls in the mountains. "
