"Hotel Boutique Casa del Río was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip! Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, the property is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for nature lovers. Our room was beautiful, and waking up to the soothing sound of the rushing river each morning was incredibly peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh tropical fruits, fresh juices, and a flavorful traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The view of the volcano from the restaurant in the morning was breathtaking....

"Ocho is an amazing place. We truly had the best time staying here. The staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND. From the pool to the bungalows it was so well decorated and such a cute place. "Ziemlich abgelegen, aber dafür umso schöner liegt die Anlage. Perfekt, um auszuspannen und Ruhe zu finden. Es gibt einen kleinen 3 Kilometer Trail der doch ziemlich steil hoch und runtergeht. 60 Minuten braucht man. Vorbeikommt man an einem kleinen und spektakulären Wasserfall. Die Anlage ist schön gepflanzt und direkt neben meiner Lodge habe ich Colibris gesehen. Außerhalb der Lodge kann man vermutlich wenig unternehmen. Ich war im August und nachts wurde es dann doch ziemlich frisch und kalt....

"There is absolutely nothing to do on the premises. There is nothing but a garden and two eating facilities. The WiFi was good. The breakfast was the same every day."

"Communication was easy, reception staff very friendly - provided all the information you could ask for, cool had the perfect temperature, room was quiet and clean Nice 5-10 minute walk to center of La Fortuna with a lot of shops along the way"

"The vista on property was beautiful but the room we booked was suppose to overlook the lake and volcano but we got placed in a room that mainly overlooked the parking lot for the sky adventure park with some views of the lake visible. There were horse flies everywhere and tons of dead flies all over the floor in the room and in the curtains on the bed and in the bathtub. The traffic up to the adventure park was very loud. And there were no amenities on the property. But the lady on site...

"The Drake Bay Getaway was an unexpected delight! Views from the room were exquisite, as each villa is perched on a hillside with an ocean view. The manager was extremely helpful and spent time explaining about the surrounding area and animal life. We felt as if we were staying with family! Meals were beautifully prepared, offering a sampling of the local food. The location was great too, allowing for quiet relaxation, yet still convenient for activities."
