The staff were super nice and helpful to us! They gave us a voucher for an ice cream and wine pairing at Clos Malverne which was so delightful! They also gave us suggestions to some of the best wineries and a map to find them. The free breakfast was very good with cooked choices as well as a cold buffet. The room was very good and had great air conditioning. The location was perfect with so many restaurants on the same street. We would definitely stay here again.

We had room 30 which is noisy being above the kitchen/oven, although the air vent does go quiet around midnight. It’s a compact room but the bed is comfy, and the air con works well, as does the telly! The hotel is in a great central position with a lively street scene, the reception staff are excellent and very friendly and we were given a lot of help in the car park and with the bags. The food in the restaurant is tasty and there is a good choice at breakfast although it seems a bit chaotic with no one really advising customers how it all works. We were very happy with our two day stay.

Central stellenbosch hotel with friendly staff

Cute central hotel for stellenbosch. The staff were just so warm, friendly and kind; made us feel very welcome. The hotel has history and is in a good location if you want to be central to the bars, restaurants and shops. A tad dated; ready for a refresh, but very clean and perfectly comfortable; slept well. Would stay here again.
