"This is a great hotel close to many great attractions and dining opportunities. Staff were very helpful and the rooftop bar was great. Be aware that parking is underground across from the property and you need a code to scan for the garage. That might be one improvement they could consider, sending the bar code by email so that you don't have to go to the hotel before parking. Other than that detail it was great all around."

"We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!"

"Loved the historical charm of the Palace! The room was a little small - couldn’t open the wardrobe all the way because it was too close to the bed. The bathroom was a good size. But the plumbing needs to be updated - the water pressure in the bathroom sink starts strong but then quickly weakens; the water in our sink smelled and tasted like old metal.
