When they say you get what you paid for that is a true statement when booking at this property. Friday there is no one at the desk but a guy on a robot to check you in. Once I got checked in the light did not work, holes in the wall, sheets were stained with god know what, holes in the sheets and worst of all a bedbug was found in the bed. All the property offer was a new room and my deposit. I was there for 5 minutes and left to a different hotel. Run far away from this place as fast as you can. Do not even take a look at this place. I would not have my worst enemy stay here that’s how horrible it was.

Drapes did not fully close in the room and we had outside light coming into the room all night. No remote for the TV.

I accidentally booked twice 2 rooms on my account . I purchased a one night stay and I completed purchase on Expedia. Then I was sent a notice to add Expedia site to my phone. In doing so it asked to reapply my booky. I re summited my billing information and I found I had accidentally booked two rooms. I mentioned it at my check in as I was advised there was nothing they could do and I should contact Expedia. Why staying the night I received a phone call from same motel advising me my room was ready. I told him I was already checked in and it was a mistake. I had to move from room 205 to room 202 because the heat was working at all in my room. After being switched the heat in the next room didn't work to heat the room . So tile floors were cold all night. Before check out time I asked disk if they were going to clear the 7 inches of snow at of their parking lot. He asked for manager she came down and told me if she could get out, I should be able to get out my self. As she left the building. I complained to front disk automated check in and check out service. I was advised their snow removal was sent up north and they could doing nothing about it. Manger finally tried to shovel drive way. I ask what happens at 10 o'clock checkout. We had to be out of our rooms. They shut my key down at 9:55 and I wasn't checked out yet. We had to shovle out our cars and still had to drive throw 7 inches of parking lot snow. I see they billed me 2 for rooms. I was very displeased with my stay.

Never seen any staff in person. Room was supposed to be a queen bed it was a full size. Whole in the wall. Electrical wires hanging out of the wall. Floors were dirty. Curtain wasn’t hung properly. Not worth the money !

There are no real people at the facility. I had to check in speaking to someone over a computer screen and not in this country. Then i went into my room and realized i did not have a remote for my tv and again because there is not an actual person on the property they could not help me. I had no tv for the entire time. He said he would print me a room key for a different room so i can get a remote and then said there were no rooms available. It was a Monday night and the place was dead. I asked to switch rooms and again he couldn’t do that. I was to wait until someone comes in at 7am but no one was ever at that front desk other than the computer screen. When i checked out at 10am there was still no one there. You can’t run a motel from another country and give any kind of customer service. There was also no shampoo or soap in my room and again no person there to give me any. It was ridiculous

This place was a complete sxit hole ! The room was dirty and had one light at the entrance as well as it took them 8 hours to make the decision with several callls and a final prompting from the maintenance man to move me .. the tv didn’t work at all and the desk staff was non existent. It’s a computer screen you talk to someone who isn’t even in Illinois… the surrounding area was sketchy as c well seeing what appeared to be drug transactions in the parking lot .. there were cars that came and left without getting out of their vehicles .. I was so disappointed I left without being able to get a refund on my last two days and rented a room at the Holiday Inn

No clerk at the front desk for check in. Dealt with someone on a kiosk screen. Got to the room tv does not work and room smells bad. Will not stay here again

Met with a Kiosk to check in. Dirty baseboards with hair plastered to wall in bathroom. Reeked of weed when returning that evening. Next morning, husband was looking for more coffee and videoed a snake slithering under ice maker. Never again

I really don’t know how to begin to explain how pitiful this hotel is. It said it was $55 on hotels.com but when we went to book it, it was 150+ tax, which came to about $172. When we came into the hotel, there was about three cars there and was not well lit. When we came into the hotel lobby, there was no one there to greet us and no one working the desk. There was a kiosk and when you walked up to it, a person came on and asked you to pay an additional $100 your card for a room deposit. The first room they gave us room number 114 was like the size of a closet. It was filthy, there was a nasty bathroom. The water was running and it smelled like sewer. A little tiny bed with one pillow one light worked in the whole room. The TV didn’t work. It was just really pathetic. I went back to the kiosk and told the man that we couldn’t accept this room and he told me that he needed to speak to the manager and they gave us another room. We would’ve left then if it hadn’t been for homecoming and Carbondale, there was no rooms available anywhere and it was late. They offered us another room, which was much cleaner two beds, but the bathroom water still ran and smelled. The TV did not work at least there were lights. I told him man at the kiosk and he said he would send a maintenance person over to fix it. I checked back with him in about an hour and he said that something had come up and they’d be there soon. They never came. This place really needs to be condemned.
