Motel 6 Carlsbad, CA Beach
Arrived at hotel 1:20 to be informed it was overbooked. After drive several hours to get there with kid in the car that to find another place to stay. Not a great experience!

Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort & Spa
Was a great stay perfect location to the beach, the pool, fire, pits restaurant, etc. all great. Will definitely be back and will recommend to people.

Activities at the pool were not that great. Need more imagination with pool games and prizes. Otter pops are not very healthy and kids would rather have something memorable they can take home.
