"Breakfast was marginal. Coffee maker in room didnt work or electronic lock on door. Trash was never emptied. Staff was pleasant and helpful."

"Danielle at check in was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and a good price, although I would recommend staying in a single story unit or one of the cottages, as we were on the ground floor of a two story unit near the river and the floors above us where very squeaky (room 331?) Our friends were in the next building over and said it was the same for them. Overall it was a good value and loved he friendly welcome at check in and check out."

"Room was clean but beds were just ok. Deep tub had no safety grab bars so getting in and out eas tricky. Electronic check in had issues- code was supposed to be sent by 4pm but did not come so we had to ask. We got it after two requests around 415. Pool gate had no instructions on how to open."

"severe clog sink. out of maintain building. dirty carpet. deadbugs on ceiling. dirty coffee pot and hairs everywhere. Apparently downstair rooms are remodeled but we got upstair. so depends on luck. I supposed downstair would be nicer. No staff. We were very confused for a long moment. You need to message the hotel to get room and code to get in."

"This is our second time staying at the Rio Vista. We absolutely love the setting right on the Methow River! All rooms have private balconies overlooking the fast-flowing river below, where you can sit and relax and watch the wildlife along the river. We watched a doe with two fawns, mergansers, bald eagles, swifts, and swallows, and went to sleep to the sound of the rushing water. "The property is well-maintained with plenty of yard games to keep the kids entertained. The pool is clean, heated, and there are several grills right alongside it — great for barbecuing while you swim. We travel with our dog, and this place goes above and beyond for pet owners — they even provide a goodie bag for pets at check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch. Location-wise, it's very convenient if you're visiting the Lake Chelan area. Staff members Heather and Matt were extremely helpful...
