What needs to be understood when booking these apartments is that the area in which they are located is terrible. There is nothing to do, everything is run down and the options for eating out are extremely limited. There's a large Westfield shopping centre at the end of the road which doesn't have that many major retailers in it and closes at 5:30pm. "Pros-
The rooms were fine- small kitchenette, comfortable bed and pillows, water pressure was good, very clean and couldn’t hear noise in corridor.
Staff- friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble.
The Mecure is attached to Bankstown Sports Club. You have the choice of 10 excellent restaurants and cafes. Staff were excellent. Facilities were spotless.
Parking- onsite and free.
Cons-
We started in room 801 which is next to the elevators. You could hear them going up and down...

"Everything was great, except the temperature of the hotel! it was in the mid to high 30s. Even with the aircon on full and set to 18, the room was too hot to sleep in. This was particularly bad as i was attending an event that required a good nights rest! Hotels should focus on sleep and rest quality, the temperature was far to high. It was also confirmed by other guests at the time."
