"Veronica gave us an extensive list of options to look at for visiting the local area, as first time visitors. You do have to carry your luggage up 1 1/2 flights of stairs. It is a good location for a 15 to 20 minute walk to Ortigia, which is a must visit.
The bed was quite comfortable and the shower had plenty of room for a big man. It did take about one minute for the shower water to become hot. Parking is in short supply outside the building but a short walk to the train station provided...

A wonderful stay in this gem of a hotel! What lovely staff and hospitality.
The garden, was spectacular at night time with a glass of Prosecco.
The guide tour in this historic building from 1762 which he calls home, after breakfast was amazing and we felt spoiled.
I would return to Noto tomorrow, mostly to say hello to him and see this beautiful home."

"There is no breakfast on offer
The description said there was a rooftop terrace, there was not, and when I asked about it, I was very rudely rebuffed, saying it is only for certain rooms and not mine.
The manager was surly and acted as if it was an imposition to be dealing with guest. He was there for check-in and then disappeared. Check out is at 10 and he will not keep your luggage later than 12 as he will not be there.
There was no information about the password for the free Wi-Fi anywhere,...
