"Delightful managers and staff, ready and eager to help. The room (3) itself was beautiful and cosy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bedsheets smelled lovely. The shower was amazing, the bathroom gorgeous. The general decor of the room and bathroom were lovely. I would definitely stay here again! Unfortunately I didn’t have time (I was working) to sample the food, but I definitely will next time! If you have accessibility needs, let them know way ahead of time as most of the rooms are...

"This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint. Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great! We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

"I stayed overnight at The Pheasant Inn with my partner. I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Generally speaking I tend to book what's available on the booking platforms but having found this gem, will actively search for availability at The Pheasant Inn before trying anywhere else."
