"Check-in was smooth and the room was comfortable and well presented. The staff at reception were efficient. Unfortunately, the service elsewhere left much to be desired, particularly in the a la carte dining restaurant where staff seemed poorly trained and inattentive to guests’ needs. The Easter egg hunt was very poorly organised and disappointing, leaving many children upset. Overall, a mixed experience — good start but service issues bring it down to about three stars."

"Peaceful location close to the marina and beach. The staff were friendly & professional. Our room was spacious, had a wonderful view with large relaxing balcony, comfortable bed & pillows and good storage space (Room 359). There was plenty of choice at breakfast. We ate at the pool bar a few times, our favourites were the club sandwich & the pulled pork tacos. Would definitely return to stay at this hotel."

"Out of our 3 stays while in Portugal, this was our least favorite. The property is almost too big and they can't seem to keep up with the amount of work and reno needed to maintain a property of this size. It rained the 1st night we arrived and a water leak caused water to get into the electrical panel while we were sleeping and cut the power. When we woke in the morning and called the front desk they sent a technician and eneded up having to move us to another villa. The pics on the website...

"Staff was very attentive. There was a good bit of construction being done around the hotel that took away a bit from the atmosphere, but the room was quite large. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The location was pretty good except for the construction. It's a bit of a walk from the "main drag" on the other side of the marina, but not horrible. Note that this is a more modern hotel and does not give the older Portuguese vibe. Still, it was a good stay. The free parking was...
