"This was a fabulous find! The property host was super accommodating. We got in late in the evening and had to leave early. His mom made a delicious home cooked meal and prepared the breakfast buffet early enough for us to eat before we had to leave. The view was fantastic and the room comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend there. "

"Cannot wait to return to this place! It’s like getting a private look into the winery and the hosts make you feel so important from check in to check out. We slept in on the first day (knowingly missing the included breakfast time) but they made fresh breakfast for us any way without our asking. The views are outstanding! Full access to request bottles of wine be left for you in the evening and you definitely want to request the charcuterie board!! Bathrooms are open to the rest of the room so...

"The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too! Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun! "
