"The place is very rundown and the "city views" were neighbours' washing hanging out windows a few metres across the narrow street. It was very noisy and we couldn't close the window because it was so hot and stuffy with no air-conditioning. But the worst part was the smell! The bathroom stank because there was a problem with the sewage. The owner replaced the drain cover but that didn't make any difference.
