Had a very nice stay herre, The location isnt the best especially for holidaymakers but if you have a car, as we did, then its not a problem. A little tricky to find but very happy with the place once we got there

For this kind of hotel (one geared for one-night stay travellers given its proximity to the airport) it was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly, room clean and comfortable, location close to good eateries. 10/10.

Lovely family room for 2 adults and 2 children. Love the 3D wallpaper. Great location near the train station. Easy to walk to the sights and shops in Genova

Immaculately clean room with plenty of space. Wonderful choice for breakfast including home-made yoghurts, jams and cakes. Friendly and welcoming owners who told us where to go for the best Gavi wine at a good price. We were also recommended to take a certain route on our departure which led us through the most beautiful scenery of Gavi and the wineries. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. The lift could do with updating and if they could supply some snacks or food apart from breakfast would be the only improvements to make it complete.

The hotel itself was brilliant. The staff were so helpful before and during my stay. The room was clean, very spacious and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a cold buffet of cake, pastries etc and set me up for the day. The hotel very helpfully warned me that it is not in the tourist part of Genoa, and I would not advise walking around this particular area and the area is noisy but the hotel provide earplugs. However, this is not the hotel’s fault and I got taxis to the hotel and then into Genoa...

A beautiful, luxury, boutique hotel. Tastefully decorated and furnished, with lots of great art work everywhere. The staff were all super helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. It was cleaned to perfection every day and we really enjoyed the delicious herbal tea left for us each evening. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The coffee was particularly good. Simona was absolutely brilliant in her communication, and responded immediately on the one issue we had (confusion on our part). A lovely lady who made us feel incredibly welcome. I would hugely recommend this place.

Luigi is a welcoming host. Our room was tastefully decorated with lots of interesting books on art and philosophy.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast. It’s in the port area but there is a nearby metro station for easily getting in to the center.

Very pleased with this hotel. Excellent location close to rail station and in walking distance of major sites of city. Very quiet, comfortable room at back on 6th floor. stayed four nights.

Il Genovino room was really comfortable and of a high standard. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The staff communicated well and were on hand for any questions and provided recommendations. We would stay again and would definitely recommend to others

We have stayed at many hotels over the years in Rapallo but this is by far the best. When we arrived check in was so easy and the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to our room while my car was taken away to the garage. The bedroom was clean and well set out with coffee machine etc. and a good supply of cold water. Bathroom spotless and with everything you needed. We had a very enjoyable week at the Melia hotel, which is in an excellent location for exploring Genoa and close enough to the station to explore the region.
