"The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the city and hills at night. It seems they have multiple buildings with rooms. We were in the building attached to the reception. We appreciated the free parking in the nearby parking garage for our car. "We were here on a whim. Really you are coming to this town to try amazing chocolate and taste excellent Cava. We also got to be part of a festival that it seems the entire town turns out for (check it out every 7-8 September (really 6-9th). You are not going to be at the hotel much. "This property is located in the middle of a local micro-vineyard. The place is modernized but kept old rustic decorations that made me feel warm and cozy. Staffs are super nice and the breakfast buffet was very good. We ate a formal dinner and the environment was so romantic. I was somewhat surprised that my room did not have a refrigerator."

"Expected to be in Barcelona itself but Sant Cugat is a pretty town to the north and has great little shops and a lovely atmosphere. Once we got the T-mobilitat train/bus/tram pass €23 for 30 days it was a 20 minute ride to Catalina square in the heart of Barcelona. Much nicer than the bustle and fast food outlets we would have stayed in!"

"The hotel is quiet at night and the drive to Barcelona is not bad. However, it's in desperately need for a repair or few touches at least. Out shower drain was clogged the first day and the water almost got into the bedroom, we spoke to the front desk agent and he gave us some towels to cover the floor and the next day it was fixed. The hotel have an offer that if you opt for not cleaning your room for a day they'll give you a free breakfast, just be aware that the "free" breakfast is for one...

"Lovely rooms, lovely bar, lounge areas and pool. The hotel is well presented. The only issue was that the children are not allowed in the indoor pool at any time of the day or night, and strangely, there was no butter to go on the bread at breakfast, even when we asked!"
