"Our room was ready when we arrived, even if we were early. Parking was on the steet, but we had no problems paying and staying overnight we paid extra past 7pm and it was good for the following morning. "

"There is no other hotel we need to know about in Setubal. This guest house is beautiful, welcoming, and fairly priced. They have a kitchen area with coffee, tea, pastries, fruit all day and yogurt in the morning. Cristina is fabulous. She made us feel right at home and was so nice during our three-night stay. You are within walking distance of pretty much everything in Setubal, from the beach to the many Choco Fritto restaurants to public squares to bars and shopping. 5 stars all the way, but know that there is a quirk that is apparently very European in that the toilet does not have a door. The shower, sink & toilet are all in one area. If you don't mind not having complete privacy while using the toilet (or shower) then this place should be on the top of your list. We will definitely book this place again. "

"Very stylish hotel in a great location. The staff were so nice and the bakery downstairs (which included breakfast) was so convenient. There isn’t an elevator and all rooms are upstairs-so consider that in your planning."

"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. Staying at Aqualuz each year is one of my favourite things to do in life."
