"All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast hot and cold buffet (extra) was excellent. Gluten-free options available. "

"Our stay was ok for what we paid. The room was clean but had no air conditioning, which in the heat wave was a bit uncomfortable. A fridge in the room would have been good. Breakfast was decent and they have a Starbucks onsite which was great. The staff were friendly and overall I would say it was value for money."

"This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!"

"Main front door doesn't shut, there was a bed missing. And the only parking space was taken up by a van that looked like it had been there for years"

"This has become like our local. We love the hotel, it’s close to the shopping centre, lovely little area, good for children and peaceful. The only issue we found is the mattress was heavily stained, they could do with looking at these as the cleaners would notice this when making the bed and don’t pick up on it. Other than that, we still enjoyed our stay."

"We were literally staying one day to meet up with family before continuing our travels. The staff was very accommdating and helpful. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice including GF and lactose free choices . The seating area for buffet also was great for us to chat with family in the late evening, keeping us from disturbing others if we were gathering in our rooms to chat. The two fire doors at hallway prevented any sound from travelling towards the rooms on the first level. We ate supper...

"This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The place if filthy and everything is broken. Our bed sheets were filthy and when we spoke to reception they handed us sheets and told us to change them ourselves as they the didn’t have any staff on. The place stank of weed. The light fittings were all broken. The shower door fell off. The public areas are ridiculous. The pictures are not a representation of the hotel in the slightest. "During checkout, the alarm in the room would not stop ringing. We wanted to extend our stay by one more night, and we had already informed Quinn that he would add an extra night for us. However, Nicolas did not even wait a few minutes before making a new online reservation for another night. The customer service was catastrophic."

"Very tired and In need of refurbishment , blocked sink, no door handle on the bathroom door, no remote for the TV, cigarette stub left on the carpet, carpet had stains, only 2 pillows provided and were flat, window closed and still allowed breeze to come in. A very unpleasant stay, we left in the evening to stay at another hotel"

"This must be the most disgusting place I ever stayed in. It's really hard to even describe... everything is old and ugly, it really is in a bad state. The host welcomed us with air freshner but it still stunk. The host had the nerve to charge us £10 for late check-in. The bed made me want to go home really desperately. My room was number 11. Oh, and the horrible bath is shared amongst at least 8 rooms."

"Received an email around 3 hours before we were due to check in the booking had been cancelled. We were en-route. Called the number on the email (which was a third party - not Hotels.com). Advised the booking had been cancelled due to 'maintenance' and to contact Hotels.com directly make an alternative booking. Attempted to contact Hotels.com but could not get to speak to a human being to make an alternative booking. We were left high and dry!"

"No reception or staff to greet you which was not an issue, I was emailed and messaged clear details of how to enter the property and my room. Car park at the side of the property was available and free to use. Spacious room and en suite. Room had a slight musty smell, difficult to have window open as near a busy room. When shut it is however quiet. Would I book again, yes. "

"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...
