"Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We also appreciated the grounds which contained mature mango trees and beautiful native plants and flowers. The fitness center was well equipped and was a welcome amenity. "The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.) The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious....

Unfortunately, my goddaughter’s shoes, which we brought from the USA, went missing from our room during our stay. We reported the incident, but the shoes were never returned.
