I honestly prefer higher end hotels . When I think all inclusive I don’t just think food/drinks I think activities/entertainment as well.. they had a couple of activities that only took place when 4 or more folks showed up. The front desk staff is lovely and the food staff tend to break their necks to accommodate the needs of the lighter hued guests. The food is good enough. The drinks were just yuck! Not sure why use ready made mixes when there is fresh fruit aplenty on this island I had to upgrade my room because my initial room was on the ground floor and that is a no for me given that I like to dwell with the curtains open.. My upgrade came with this minting sound throughout my entire stay (I think the room is near the generator or something so I sounding like you’re sitting on a low running engine in room 705. I will say as a solo traveler I felt totally safe throughout my stay and not once was I harassed by the staff. Also my massages with LaLa were chef’s kiss I’m open to give St Lucia another shot because I think the hotel tainted my view woke of this beautiful country. PLEASE NOTE: you will need a universal adapter if you’re coming from the US and the shuttle bus to the beach/shopping is not available on Sunday & Wednesday.

Our stay at Bel Jou Hotel for our anniversary in January was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. The food was amazing with plenty of delicious options, and every meal felt like a treat. The views were simply breathtaking, waking up to that scenery each day made the experience even more special. It was the perfect place to celebrate such an important occasion. We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. ♥️🌴🌅

First and foremost, the staff was amazing. The resort, although a little outdated, provided a wonderful getaway. The resort does not have beach access, but you have a clear view of the ocean from the resort. Daily meals were hot and delicious with a wide variety of items to choose from. Daily scheduled activities were fun.

Very clean room, public area and poolside. Drinks great. Food good with a nice selection. Staff all very nice and there to make your trip pleasant. They don’t provide converters for the electric difference, so bring a converter for your phone and one for your hair appliances.

Rooms were clean, food was good, but staff could be friendlier. Night entertainment was good but at times, incredibly loud-which was surprising since the clientele is older. Some great views of the island from the higher floors. Shuttle service needs to be reserved at the front desk, just a heads up bc they didn’t tell us.

The whole trip was amazing. From the airport pickup to the airport drop off. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially, Janet, Jolene, Princess, Brandon, Jaffrey, and of course the lovely Jem on reception who was so helpful and showed a real interest in our board games of Sequence. I hope she has played it now and enjoys it as much as we did. The entertainment was fun, and the pool aerobics were a real highlight. The staff at the pool bar and the restaurants were all so attentive and professional. They are a credit to the hotel and their smiles prove that it is not only a great place for guests, but a great place to work. Well done Bel Jou!

Amazing staff and food. Was concerned about not being on beach but they have a shuttle that goes to one of the nicest beaches you can walk on and lots of shade and chairs. Its a small resort so quiet and great for relaxing. I loved it and I've been all over the Caribbean. I will be back.

Bel Jou Hotel is a clean, quiet, and relaxing resort with excellent food and friendly staff. The food was a standout, offering tons of variety, and the drinks were very good as well. Rooms were spotless, with bedding and towels changed daily. The resort is compact and easy to get around, with two pools, a gym, plenty of seating, and beautiful views of the marina and ocean. Lulu’s Snackbar and available excursions were nice added perks. The resort is not on the beach, and while a shuttle runs hourly, the nearby roads are not walkable. Entertainment was limited, with daytime activities happening inconsistently and evening shows starting late, leaving little to do after dinner. Lounge chairs lacked padding, beach towels were sometimes limited, and cocktails were missing garnishes. The atmosphere catered more to an older crowd, with music leaning heavily toward 80s hits. Nothing is within walking distance. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful getaway, but less ideal if you’re looking for lively entertainment.

Rooms are kept clean, all the staff are excellent at this hotel, polite, freindly. Always with a big smile. The bar had great choices and the cocktails made perfectly at all bars. Our only negative comment is that we would have liked Caribbean food being in the Caribbean. Apart from that we love this hotel having been 3 times. Please cook Caribbean food.
