"Staff was real nice, we tried to use the gym but there was no electricity, and it was early in the morning so we didn’t find anyone to help with that"

The whole atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area but also the rooms, breakfast, music during breakfast and the discreet but perfect service (not to intrusive) makes you feel like being in a grand hotel of the last century. "Beautiful room and bathroom at the front of the hotel. Had large balcony, shared with other rooms (although nobody else used it when we were there). Extremely comfortable room with efficient aircon. Food in the on-site restaurant was excellent, as was the hotel's home-grown/produced wine. Breakfast also great, with loads of choice. Staff polite and helpful. Some noise from passing trains when windows were open, but being near the station was a requirement for us, and this didn't impact our stay....

"L'hotel è posto nel centro dell'isola commerciale di Stresa ed è annesso a un ristorante, che abbiamo provato con completa soddisfazione. La struttura è complessivamente un po' (ma piacevolmente) datata, alcuni particolari in camera potrebbero essere arricchiti o migliorati, ma si tratta di un due stelle con una tariffa proporzionata. Accoglienza calorosa, soggiorno gradevole."

"Abbiamo prenotato nel mese di settembre, la stanza molto comoda, pulita, con tutto il necessario per renderla accogliente, con vista al lago, stupenda. Il personale di una disponibilità ed amabilità incredibile. La colazione completa: frutta, dolci, formaggi, a chi piace una colazione salata molto assortita. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta, sicuramente torneremo."
