"We loved our stay @ Hotel I Merli di Ada! We made a late change to our itinerary and booked this hotel. The staff was great, the room was great and the top floor Happy Hour view is incredible! I'd recommend the room w the extra sitting room bc it was a great staging area for luggage etc. Great location close to the Piazza and the heart of town. Shower/bathroom a little tight for someone 6'3" but not a complaint, just an FYI. Water bottles at front desk after hours were a nice touch. "

"What a gorgeous property. It was a bit rainy when we were there so unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the pool. We had a great time exploring the grounds though. The extra large room was VERY welcomed after all the other tiny European ones. It was very luxurious and comfortable. They even provided room service. Our favorite part though was discovering the nearby town of Castellina. It is literally built into a castle. It was actually jaw dropping. So charming and plenty of cozy restaurants,...

"À ce prix là vue sur autoroute!!!!! En plus on a payé un surplus car la chambre était rénovée. Franchement problème de nettoyage douche. Déjà des moisissures aux niveau des joints du carrelage de la douche italienne. À ce prix là j’attendais vraiment mieux. Casa Howard was very clean, and the breakfast-to-order served to the room every morning was extraordinary. We had 2 rooms - one with a lovely little balcony. "This is the most under rated property in Florence! request a first floor, Piazza facing apartment and your view is spectacular! Never mind the people watching! Worth every dollar spent. Just know that it is noisy at night until around 1am as it's in a very public piazza but you just need good earplugs or the aircon on to drown that out if it was to bother you. "
