"Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc."

"The hotel is a bit dated, but the outdoor garden areas are very nice. The check in staff was not particularly welcoming. Our main issue was that there was no room service at all unless you asked for it in advance but we were never told we needed to ask. At check-in we should have been asked if we want room service or at least be told we would have to ask to get it. Therefore we stayed 3 days with no room service despite paying $300 a night. The breakfast was little above the normal hotel free...

"Bathroom ceiling over shower head had large hole spilling water out during shower. Was exhausted and didn't notice beforehand. TV wasn't working, it was a very long driving day and we had gone to bed and wanted to relax. Maintenance and staff came and moved out dresser and after about 20 minutes tv was fixed. In the morning, said dresser was still moved out away from wall exposing bed bug matter and mice droppings. Bed was uncomfortable. Reported all the above and showed room to person at...

"The room was nice, clean and newly renovated. I appreciated the ability to open a window and it was quiet. However, the hotel was terribly disorganized, probably due to ongoing renovations; couldn't even find a spoon (I waited 20 minutes and was finally told they couldn't find one). In the morning the shuttle driver didn't know where the van had been parked, so he had to wander around looking until he found it.
