"Room was clean considering the condition and age. Beds were clean. Baseboard in bathroom was coming apart. Shower pressure was great. Staff was ok, not friendly but not rude. I was irratated with the surprise pet security deposit that was not listed when i made my reservation. We choose the hotel because they were pet friendly and had no pet fees. We were traveling across country relocating and had our 5 dogs with us. I rented 3 rooms and was charged (and later refunded) $150 per room because of the pets. This should be listed on the site so people arent caught off guard. This was on a Saturday and my refund wasnt processed until Thursday. Thats $450 i was not prepared for and had to reallocate during this trip. "
"I spent a week at the Richland Inn. The room was very basic. It would be an acceptable choice for someone who is not fussy and who is on a tight budget. There was no soap in the room and no hangers; an iron – – but no ironing board. Since there was no soap, there was no soap dish. So when they provided the soap that I requested, it caked and stuck onto the countertop.
The continental breakfast was waffles, white bread, bagels, that were not good, and the only cereals were sweetened, i.e., Froot Loops, chocolate, and sweetened Cheerios. There was no fruit or yogurt. But the biggest issue is that the coffee was terrible – – extremely weak.
Since there was a mini fridge and a microwave, I bought some things and made my own breakfast in the room.
Some of the finish had worn off the tub and sink. It was mostly clean, but the corners of the bathroom had dirt on the tiles.
The positive part is that the staff was very nice and it was nice to have Netflix. As I said at the beginning, this would be OK for someone who cares more about saving money than having a nicer place.
It served my purpose, but next time around, I will spring for the extra money to stay at a somewhat nicer place."
"The tub in the room was filthy and black you could see footprints in it. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed in the room. Check out time was 11am it was 10:45am and the cleaning staff was looking in the room window and waiting outside the door for us to leave it made us feel very uncomfortable. The kid behind the counter was friendly. The hotel is run down and in need of some serious updating. I didn’t even try the breakfast due to the condition of the room I was concerned about cleanliness. If I ever come back to the area I won’t be staying here again. At least there were no bed bugs in the room. "
