I was really disappointed with my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dickson. From the outside, the property looks great—clean, well-kept, and inviting—but unfortunately, that didn’t carry through once we stepped inside.
The issues started right away with the condition of the room. The carpet was visibly fraying, which made the space feel worn and poorly maintained. Even worse, the tiles in both the entryway and bathroom were sticky underfoot—something you definitely don’t want to experience in a hotel.
What made matters even more frustrating was the lack of concern from the front-desk associate who checked us in. When we brought up the condition of the room, he said he would move us to another one, but then casually told us none were actually available. There was no real effort to resolve the issue or make the situation right, just an indifferent attitude that left us feeling brushed off.
Overall, while the exterior gives a good first impression, the interior condition and customer service fell far short of expectations. I wouldn’t stay here again.
