"Did a solo overnight stay to capture the sunset at Long Jetty and the sunrise at Crackneck Lookout and the location is well located to access both by car within 15min. The rooms are dated, but clean. I stayed in the one bedroom loft and it had everything I needed for the night and more. "I called asked for a free upgrade when I was 1/2 hour away from the hotel. I was told there was nothing available. All good, I thought I would just ask. We went to the room. It really isn’t an ocean view it’s a view of a body of water. A bit disappointed. I also wasn’t convinced that there were no free upgrades available as the hotel was very quiet."

"The room was spotless, the receptionist was lovely and very informative. The grounds themselves were absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Easy to get to and parking close to the rooms. Breakfast was lovely and so was the lady in the kitchen Would definitely recommend if you want no frills accommodation and total relaxation and peacefulness"

"This was budget accommodation and was adequate for sleeping and relaxing. The room was clean. Hot water took ages to arrive after turning on. The bathroom sink had a crack although did not leak. The front door lock was stiff and sometimes the door bolt would get stuck inside the faceplate - it had to be banged to get it to release."

"The hotel is well maintained and recently painted but that was the issue. The overwhelming smell of oil based paint made it very difficult to sleep or enjoy our stay. Was disappointing."

"The accommodation side is too close to the bar and club, they played loud music until midnight which kept our whole family awake. Breakfast is very limited choice with small variety of food compares with the price. However the lake view is really beautiful and the food in restaurant is amazing too."

"Upon arrival at the motel we were concerned , it is currently undergoing major reconstruction and renovation, this is not mentioned in the motels site listing on Expedia. It looks like a demolition site and we were not even sure if we had the right place. Upon finding the office a friendly enough gentleman checked us in and sort of apologised for the state of the place.
