"My wife and I were disappointed that we had to stay across the street from the main hotel building. I must not have read that this hotel is two buildings. When we arrived on our floor, the hallway had a strong odor that worried us because it smelled damp. The staff was nice and I’m sure we would have rated this hotel better if we didn’t have our room in the building with the bad odor. "
"Staff very polite and attentive to the guest.
The hotel sits directly on the Chao Phraya River, giving many rooms stunning water views and sunset scenery.
The breakfast buffet is large, high quality, and scenic,.

"I had an uneven stay at this hotel. It felt to me more like a very good 4 star hotel rather than a 5 star experience. My room on the 23rd floor was beautiful, with a gorgeous view, but I had to ask the staff to unplug the fridge as it was quite noisy. I also struggled with being understood in English by some of the staff. One particular misunderstanding came from the belief I’d need an adapter for North American charging devices when in fact you can just plug right in. You’d think at this level of luxury the staff might be better trained on this type of simple information. The hotel is also not in a convenient area. The closest BTS station is almost 20 minutes away on foot and the path is quite precarious. Finally, the hotel restaurant doesn’t serve wine by the glass, only the bottle, so for solo travellers it doesn’t make very much sense. Due to this I never ate there. The staff did everything they could to help with the various issues that came up, but I wouldn’t stay here again. "
